CSIRO ON Prime Pitch Day
Working with CSIRO and Stone & Chalk events team. Bake developed an approach to captured all of the pitchs days action in Sydney.
The pitch day is the culmination of a nine-week program that helps publicly funded research teams understand the potential of their research and their translation options.
Baked captured professional audio, video and videos reels of each participants final day pitch using a live vision switcher for real editing. This allowed for quikc and easy hand over of files on the day to the client to back up, manage and edit.
This was a small team approach designed to fit withing the clients limited budget.

Pre-production
Bake worked with CSIRO and the Stone & Chalk events team to plan a low-footprint, high-impact capture of the ON Prime Pitch Day in Sydney. This event marked the culmination of a nine-week program helping research teams explore the commercial and social potential of their innovations. We designed a content approach tailored to the format — efficient, professional, and ready for fast turnaround.

Solution
On-site, our compact crew used a live vision switcher to record every team’s final pitch with clean edits in real time — minimising post-production needs. We captured quality audio and video of each presentation, along with short video reels and dynamic angles for promotional use. This efficient approach ensured the client received editable files immediately after the event, ready for internal or external sharing with no delay.

The Result
The final content package was delivered same-day — including individual pitch recordings, reels, and backup-ready assets. The small-crew setup kept the production within budget while maintaining a polished, professional finish. CSIRO now has a replicable model for future pitch event coverage.
