SugarCRM Speepanel Case Study
Bake worked with the Australian, SugarCRM senior leadership and marketing team to plan, visualise, produce and edit an impactful case study showcasing how SugarCRM is supporting Speedpanel with it’s domestic and international growth.
Speedpanel is an Australian company that manufactures innovative, lightweight, fire-rated, and acoustic wall systems used in various construction projects for their rapid installation and superior performance, reducing costs and build times for developers, architects, and builders.
Bake helped develop a detailed production plan, shot list, ran cross functional team briefings, a stock footage library audit, a venue recce all the way through to travel logistics, crewing, onsite filming, grip, gaff, sound, lighting and post production editing of the campaign pieces.
All material had to meet the strict global brand guidelines including review and approvals from both Speedpanel Australia and SugarCRM HQ based in Chicago, USA.

Pre-production
Working closely with the SugarCRM marketing team on extensive pre-production planning including a site visit, a technical review of existing Speedpanel stock footage, detailed storyboards, script review and a range of stakeholder and talent briefs to co-ordinate access, location and shoot logistics.
All pre-production materials were approved prior to filming so as to ensure a solid base and allow for filming and editing to move forward with confidence.

Solution
The project required capturing a range of interviews and location footage in one day, in a fast paced filming environment.
We used cinematic lighting and sound techniques to capture the interviews in hi-resolution 8K Red RAW video format.
We also filmed a range of dynamic walking and talking shots on a stabilised gimbal. with a range of indoor drones shots caputured to help show case the technical innovation of the factory facility.
A strong focus was placed on storytelling in post, combining B-roll, voice, sound design and motion graphics to emphasise both human impact and technological innovation.
Post production utilised a range of immersive sound design, cinematic color grading, audio mastering and editing to a range of digital and social media optimised formats.

The Result
The completed case study delivered a heartfelt and polished video that blended technology, history, and social good. SugarCRM will use the content as a key piece in their global marketing toolkit, showcasing how their technology platform enables businesses to scale and grow internationally.
