The Big Debate: Should Australia be cashless?
It was amazing to win the commission to ideate, produce, film & edit the feature video for the AusPayNet 2023 Summit – Big Debate on the topic ‘Should Australia be cashless?’.
With tight timelines we created a concept for approval including film permits, onlocation filming, editing & graphics for the Australian Payments Network team. The finished video was played at the event to a full house as an introduction to their famous Big Debate format.
Their team was super happy & the room was full of laughs, giggles & applause for this entertaining & engaging piece of content.

Pre-production
Bake worked up a detailed treatment, location recce, council permissions through to talent and prop ideas to create this engaging piece of content. Build using a range of street style question and answer materials.

Solution
We built out a three (3) street team to film and interview a diverse range of random interviewees. A small team was needed to keep the foot print within the permit council criteria. Every interviewee signed a talent release form for rights cleared media.

The Result
We editied the material down into a three (3) minute video, wrapped a cabaret style look and feel which premiered to a full house at the Sydney International Convention Centre. It was a roaring success with crowd laughs and applause at the planned video beats.
